World Diabetes Day is an international event to raise awareness about diabetes. The theme for 2016 is Eyes on Diabetes. Our guest is Professor Alicia Jenkins, Professor of Diabetes and Vascular Medicine at the University of Sydney and an endocrinologist at St Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne.
Professor Jenkins is a diabetes expert, and has been an integral part of setting up of a fabulous global initiative out of Melbourne, Insulin for Life. There is a lot we must know about diabetes and only by understanding something, can we choose to make better choices. With Diabetes there is a lot at stake for you & your family. In this show we discuss everything diabetes and the action we can take today.
