Second set of Gravitational Waves detected
Astronomers have detected another gravitational wave signal causing a distortion in the fabric of spacetime. The newly announced detection occurred on December 26 when scientists with the Advanced LIGO -- Laser Interferometer Gravitational Wave Observatory -- recorded a new signal generated by the merging of two black holes 1.4 billion light years away.
