*The origins of the Martian Moon Phobos A new study claims the Martian moon Phobos may have been formed out of ejecta debris blasted out into space when a large asteroid slammed into the red planet soon after it formed. *China to launch artificial Moon China has announced plans to launch the first of three artificial Moons designed to be bright enough to replace streetlights. *Rocket Lab selects Wallops Flight Facility for its US launch site New Zealand based orbital launch provider Rocket Lab says it will construct its planned United States launch pad at NASA's Wallops Flight Facility on the Virginian mid-Atlantic coast. *November SkyWatch Probably the best cometary display this year will be C45P Wirtanen which will zoom through the southern skies around November 23rd. And just like October -- November sees three meteor showers -- November Orionids, the Taurids, and the Leonids.
