AP recently received emails extorting money from him, including threats that his computer had been hacked and the perpetrator was going to release his personal information. Whilst AP managed to escape the clutches of this F&^kwit, it started us thinking about the amount of time Producers, Voice Artists and Audio Engineers spend online uploading and downloading files from sometimes dubious sources. So what are the risks, and what can we do to better protect ourselves.
