Ian Redpath worked as a financial planner but when someone offered to buy his business, it gave him the chance to think about what his real love and passion was. After a discussion with his daughter, he decided to sell his financial planning business and start a new one - "Detour Adventures" so he could spend every day doing what he loves most - 4 wheel driving, in luxury. Ian has now had his business for just over a year and with 12 months experience in a new business there are some wonderful learnings for us in regards to setting up a business, creating a new category, setting standadrds for ourselves and our brand, and chasing dreams.
