Astronomers have discovered a mysterious object in interstellar space which appears to be right at the boundary between a giant planet and brown dwarf. The object is more than a dozen times more massive than Jupiter and has a surprisingly strong magnetic signature.
*Gilmour Space achieves record thrust in hybrid rocket engine test
Gold Coast based space systems start up Gilmour Space Technologies, has conducted its most powerful orbital engine test so far – achieving 80 kilonewtons or 18,000 pounds of thrust during a 17 second burn of its experimental hybrid rocket engine.

New Zealand space launch company Rocket Lab has delayed their next orbital flight until November because of technical issues. The Auckland based company says ongoing concerns with the Electron launch vehicles motor controllers are behind the delays
