The project was launched in 2015 by theoretical physicist and Internet entrepreneur Yuri Milner together with fellow physicist Stephen Hawking. *World’s highest capacity broadband satellite launched A United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket has successfully blasted into orbit carrying the EchoStar XIX telecommunications satellite. The new bird will be the world’s highest capacity broadband satellite providing increased high speed internet services across North America
